Driver Assistant DEA

Responsibilities

• Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved
• Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops
• Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system
• Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops
• Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials
• Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain Hazwoper within first 90 days
• Ability to travel up to 50% overnight based on routes
• Must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of related experience
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations
• Proficiency with Windows based programs (Excel and Word)
• Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (e.g., forklift)
• Clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail
