Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and professional fuel delivery to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tankers, trailers, and equipment.
• Safely load, transport, and unload fuel products in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and routing.
• Complete all required delivery, inspection, and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients in person, via phone, or radio.

Requirements

• Valid Alaska Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (Class A preferred).
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSR, DOT regulations, and state/federal trucking requirements.
• Ability to work safely in extreme Alaskan weather conditions (temperatures as low as -65°F).
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience handling and transporting petroleum products or hazardous materials.
• Prior experience in heating oil or petroleum delivery.
• Familiarity with the Fairbanks and North Pole service areas.
