Driver Academy for Women

Responsibilities

• Operate side/rear lift collection vehicles for municipal collections
• Perform loading and unloading duties of recycling and waste products
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained and presented well, both inside and out
• Perform manual handling tasks as required

Requirements

• Hold a current unrestricted driver’s licence for a minimum of 24 months
• Driving history with a maximum of 8 demerit points remaining
• Ability to perform manual handling duties
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to safety and a resilient attitude
• Excellent customer service ethic and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• No heavy vehicle driving experience is required; training is provided
