Driver Academy

Responsibilities

• Participate in an intensive 5-week paid training program to obtain your Heavy Vehicle (HR) licence
• Safely and efficiently operate waste collection vehicles throughout the NSW/VIC region
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste products
• Deliver loads to nominated disposal facilities
• Maintain high levels of customer service and vehicle presentation
• Complete all required paperwork and records accurately

Requirements

• Hold a current unrestricted driver’s licence for a minimum of 24 months
• Driving history with a maximum of 8 demerit points remaining
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks
• Strong commitment to safety and a resilient attitude
• Ability to work early morning shifts (4am starts)
