Driver 7.5T

Responsibilities

• Deliver plastic pipes and associated products to customers throughout Berkhamsted and surrounding areas
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of the vehicle at all times
• Strive to complete on-time delivery of orders to JDP customers
• Comply with all vehicle and driver legislation, including driving hours rules and regulations
• Determine the most efficient routes for daily delivery schedules
• Provide professional and reliable customer service while representing the company on the road

Requirements

• Class C1 licence (minimum requirement)
• Valid Driver CPC training
• Digital driving licence (tacho card)
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
• Detailed knowledge of driver procedures and driving hours regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is an advantage
