About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis using various EPA Methods in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform extractions using various EPA methods
- Safely and properly wash scientific glassware for the organic preparation department
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
- Use appropriate safety equipment and recognize safe working conditions
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work off shifts
- Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Manual dexterity to handle scientific glassware
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional education or experience working in a laboratory setting
