Drinking Water Network Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair drinking water networks through leak detection and repairs
• Perform renewal and maintenance of network accessories such as valves, hydrants, and pressure reducers
• Manage water shutdowns and service restorations during works
• Execute meter replacement programs and maintain remote reading systems
• Update GIS (Geographic Information System) with new connection data and network plans
• Perform minor masonry work including road repairs and concrete work
• Conduct field investigations to analyze consumption variations and identify causes
• Carry out specialized leak detection for pipe ruptures or pressure drops

Requirements

• BTS Métiers de l'eau/GEMEAU or Canalisateur training
• Proven experience working with drinking water networks
• Solid understanding of hydraulics
• Valid Driving License B (Permit B)
• Proficiency with computer tools and digital reporting
• Ability to work independently in outdoor environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Driving License BE
• CACES mini-excavator certification
