Drilling Rig Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise field operations of land and offshore well completion sites for deep or critical wells
• Direct all well operations safely according to industry practices and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Coordinate timely ordering of well materials, equipment, and services
• Ensure compliance with Blowout Prevention Standards and established safety procedures
• Manage fiscal accountability for equipment and materials
• Provide daily reports of work progress to headquarters
• Promote cost-savings and operational optimization
• Provide on-the-job training to less experienced personnel

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience in well completion and high-pressure oil and gas wells
• OR High School/ITC completion with 15 years of related experience in well completion and high-pressure wells
• Proven ability to handle operational responsibilities on critical wells
• Strong leadership, judgment, and dependability
