Dredging Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Implement project survey plans specific to field operations
• Collect topographic and hydrographic survey data using multiple collection methods
• Oversee operations through periodic reviews of record keeping, field procedures, and survey audits
• Maintain accurate and legible field notes
• Set and maintain control networks and perform layout tasks

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field
• Willingness to work a 19/9 rotational schedule and 60-70 hours per week, including weekends
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts for calculations (area, volume, circumference, etc.)
• Reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Trimble equipment
