DRC Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving of goods, including loading and off-loading trucks using powered and manual material handling equipment.
• Operate various types of forklifts to move, store, and replenish goods according to the warehouse layout.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality, damage, and expiry dates to ensure maximum yield and safety.
• Build skids of goods for delivery and sort/categorize non-food items.
• Accurately count and weigh products and assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record and facilitate warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent.
• Current Forklift Operator's Certificate.
• At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or retail environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained manual labor.
• Ability to work in various environments, including freezers, refrigerators, and outdoors in winter.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict policies and procedures.
