About the role
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio
- Develop technical documentation including Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) packages and site manuals
- Gather requirements from network and installation engineers to create as-built plans
- Maintain technical drawing and documentation libraries across information sharing platforms
- Travel to NCTE locations to survey proposed and existing installation sites
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in computer aided design and drafting with an emphasis on IT system design
- Expert level knowledge of AutoCAD (2D, 3D, and VBA)
- Expert level knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Understanding of electrical and HVAC concepts related to IT installations
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and work on ladders
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year
