Draftsman - MEP

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP/HVAC layout drawings, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and equipment arrangement drawings
• Develop shop drawings, GA drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements
• Interpret HVAC design inputs, specifications, and engineering documents
• Coordinate with MEP/HVAC engineers to incorporate design changes and technical clarifications
• Ensure drawings comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, project specifications, and client standards
• Support site teams by providing drawing revisions and resolving drawing-related queries
• Maintain drawing registers, document control, and revision tracking
• Participate in technical meetings and provide drafting support during project execution

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering
• 4–8 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman in oil & gas or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP/HVAC systems including chilled water systems, ducting, ventilation, and pressurization systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
