Drafter

Responsibilities

• Support Engineers in designing and documenting innovative equipment for heavy lift and transport projects
• Create preliminary CAD models, concept drawings, and finalized fabrication drawings
• Develop load testing documentation, including procedure drawings and certificates
• Assist with basic mechanical design and structural analysis tasks
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards such as ASME
• Perform preliminary checks on drawings for content and format compliance
• Develop proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor techniques including Dynamic Blocks and Frame Generator
• Provide technical assistance and workflow guidance to other CAD users

Requirements

• 3-10 years of qualifying experience in CAD operation
• Advanced experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Associate’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related CAD-focused degree/certificate
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to visit job sites and work in outdoor or potentially hazardous environments
• Ability to pass a drug test, fit for duty, and background check
