Dozer Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, water trucks, and haulage trucks
• Perform quality pre-operation machine inspections and document requirements accurately
• Identify and control hazards to ensure safe production and compliance with MSHA standards
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping for machines and work areas
• Participate in risk assessment processes and proactive near-miss reporting
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and proficiency audits

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
• Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA and MSHA regulatory requirements
• Valid and insurable driving license
• Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including days and nights
• Ability to travel on short notice to support various sites
• Physical ability to lift up to 85 pounds and perform repetitive movements like kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Ability to meet equipment manufacturer safety requirements (body weight under 330 pounds)
