Downstream Production Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are properly and neatly wound onto reels for customer shipment
• Collaborate with production workers to assist with line start-ups and reel changes
• Operate reelers in both manual and automatic modes
• Perform basic quality checks using standard tools and measuring devices to identify abnormalities
• Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workspace while following all safety protocols
• Participate in team feedback and continuous improvement discussions

Requirements

• Proven reliability and punctuality regarding scheduled workdays
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance and push/pull pipe coils
• Ability to stand in a stationary position for 80-100% of the shift
• Ability to squat, bend, or stoop as needed
• Commitment to wearing required PPE, including gloves, eye protection, and steel-toe boots
• Ability to work in a plant environment with heat, dust, and noise
