DOT Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a DOT regulated vehicle to transport materials and equipment
• Maintain a safe working environment and culture within the organization
• Take care of company property and equipment
• Work independently with minimal supervision while functioning effectively in a team environment
• Manage weight requirements and weight distribution for loads

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capable of obtaining a CDL Class A or B with applicable endorsements
• Clean driving record and ability to provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card
• Ability to obtain required customer clearances, such as TWIC or DISA
• Valid passport and ability to cross borders
• Ability to travel 80-90% of the time, including local, long-distance, and overnight stays
• Ability to drive difficult routes

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of technical work experience
