Door Attendant

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to patients and visitors entering and exiting MSK buildings
• Project a positive image of the Center by demonstrating a courteous, caring, and professional manner
• Identify, respond to, and attempt to resolve potential concerns, problems, complaints, and inquiries
• Assist the Security Department in maintaining a secure environment through observation and timely referrals
• Respond to emergencies such as fires, floods, or power failures as outlined in the Emergency Preparedness Plan

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and continuously move around
• Ability to assist patients in and out of wheelchairs and vehicles
• Strong interpersonal communication and judgment skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a concierge or Door Attendant
