Donor Relations & Stewardship Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an innovative donor services program, including donor relations, stewardship, and communications.
• Plan and execute stewardship practices that advance University goals and enhance development efforts.
• Coordinate ongoing donor recognition and communication activities.
• Interact professionally with internal and external constituents using strong interpersonal skills.
• Analyze data to prepare stewardship reports and deliver presentations.
• Manage multiple projects and assignments while adhering to established budgets and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, education, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible donor relations, stewardship, or related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including database, spreadsheet, and word processing applications).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under University policy.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education advancement.
• Experience with endowment management.
• Experience in budget development.
• Familiarity with donor or constituent database and reporting systems (e.g., Millennium).
