Donation Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process incoming donations by loading, unloading, sorting, packing, hanging, and pricing items
• Complete customer transactions accurately using cash and debit sales
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking shelves, and creating attractive merchandise displays
• Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and removing old inventory from the sales floor
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including cleaning spills and clearing exits
• Monitor store security and activity to protect donated items and assets

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Experience in customer service or the processing and distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
