About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, landlords, and service providers to secure affordable housing for DV shelter clients
- Provide technical support for housing program initiatives to outreach partners and service providers
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify eligible clients and facilitate housing application processes
- Maintain accurate tracking of available units, pending client referrals, and set-aside units
- Liaison with sister agencies like DHS for survivor discharge planning
- Prepare monthly statistical reports and conduct field work
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of community work experience, OR
- High school graduation and six years of community work experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in community-centered activities
