Domestic Transport Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Provide accurate shipment quotes and monitor status updates for customers.
• Manage daily operational tasks including driver scheduling and cross-docking activities.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trailers and manage domestic shipment logistics.
• Proactively address customer inquiries and collaborate with sales teams to resolve concerns.
• Monitor shipment tracking and provide real-time updates to maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in domestic truckload operations or transportation.
• Familiarity with trucking, delivery processes, and tracking/tracing IT systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CargoWise (C1) and ExWorks.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
