Requirements

About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist domestic and family violence (D&FV) advice, coaching, and practice leadership to the Intensive Family Support team
- Strengthen team capability through training, reflective practice, and guidance
- Support high-quality, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and client-centred case management
- Work directly with families, including conducting home visits, to develop and implement effective case plans
- Complete risk assessments and safety planning using the Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework
- Deliver culturally safe practice, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
- Build strong partnerships with community services and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Specialist expertise in domestic and family violence
- Experience in child protection and/or child, youth, and family services
- Knowledge of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act and Child Protection Act
- Experience delivering trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
- Strong risk assessment, crisis response, and safety planning skills
- Full driver licence with no restrictions
