Document Retrieval Clerk

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume administrative workflows, including document intake, triage, and prioritization
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and preparing documents for scanning
• Scan records and route them to appropriate Document Retrieval Representatives
• Perform accurate data entry into external portal systems
• Retrieve, download, and organize records from various portals and systems
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy of document requests
• Maintain tracking systems and report on trends to improve provider efficiency
• Support strategic cross-functional projects such as pre-pay and post-pay initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred
• 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or document management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Morristown, NJ
