Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of project documentation, including receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, and archiving
• Maintain document control systems in accordance with project procedures and quality standards
• Ensure timely processing of incoming and outgoing documents such as drawings, RFIs, submittals, reports, and correspondence
• Control revisions to ensure only the latest approved documents are in circulation
• Liaise with engineering, supervision, and contractor teams to ensure document compliance and accuracy
• Generate regular reports on document status, workflows, and outstanding items
• Ensure compliance with client, consultant, and project-specific document control protocols
• Support audits and ensure proper document storage and retrieval procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller within construction projects
• Proven experience working on construction supervision or consultancy projects
• Must be a Saudi National
• Proficiency in Aconex document control systems
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to manage high volumes of documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on infrastructure or tunnelling projects
