Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures
• Develop and manage the Document Management System (DMS)
• Control the flow of electronic and hard copy documents, including distribution and archiving
• Ensure all documents comply with company standards for numbering, formatting, review, and approval
• Process incoming and outgoing documents including registration, tracking, and transmission
• Monitor document review and approval timelines to meet project schedules
• Maintain and update the Master Document Register in coordination with project teams
• Verify that all drawings and technical documents are properly identified, filed, and stored
• Perform scanning, copying, and quality checks of supplier documents
• Provide administrative support and manage departmental documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Document Controller
• Proficiency with Aconex, SharePoint, or similar document management software
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures and best practices
• Experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial sectors preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
