Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of project documentation including design and as-builts
• Maintain document control systems in line with project and client requirements
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and version control of all incoming and outgoing documents
• Coordinate document workflows including reviews, approvals, and transmittals
• Support project teams with document retrieval and reporting
• Ensure compliance with project standards, naming conventions, and document control procedures
• Assist with audits and ensure processes meet quality and compliance requirements
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely document exchange

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar role within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with document management systems such as Aconex or TeamBinder
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of document control processes, workflows, and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
