Document Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete document and data control lifecycle for a multi-billion dollar mega-project in Riyadh
• Establish, implement, and manage robust document control processes, systems, and governance across the PMO, contractors, and external stakeholders
• Ensure Document Control Procedures are followed by the PMO and PMCs, updating procedures as necessary
• Manage the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for the Programme
• Create workflows for Programme Documentation within the EDMS
• Provide weekly log reports regarding outstanding or overdue documentation
• Train team members on the use of EDMS and SharePoint
• Write and maintain formal document control procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Documentation, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in document control management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with EDMS and SharePoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Professional certification in document control (e.g., Certified Document Controller or ISO 9001) or records management
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory document retention requirements
• Familiarity with Project Management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
• Self-motivation to drive alignment on EDMS usage across PMO and PMCs
