Responsibilities

• Provide home-based medical care and emergency services for patients with complex chronic pathologies within the Basque Country emergency contract
• Conduct patient anamnesis, collecting data on symptoms, clinical history, and allergies
• Perform physical examinations and assess nutritional and psychological status
• Perform global patient assessments based on clinical findings and nursing evaluations
• Issue medical diagnoses and code them according to CIE10 standards
• Develop and explain detailed treatment plans and care protocols to patients and caregivers
• Manage patient discharge or coordinate referrals to reference hospitals via the emergency coordination center
• Report relevant incidents to coordinators or hierarchical superiors

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine and Surgery
• Homologated foreign degree (if applicable)
• Minimum of six months of professional medical experience
