Dock Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct dock connecting crews and berth person-in-charge
• Monitor and operate dock process equipment in a safe, reliable, and environmentally sound manner
• Perform primary emergency response duties as assigned per post requirements
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures, company policies, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and forced call-outs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8 years of Dock Operations experience in the Petro-Chemical Industry
• 3 years of Dock Supervision experience
• Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to qualify
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work in inclement weather, climb structures, and perform work at heights

• Demonstrated leadership in personal safety and teamwork dynamics
• Experience mentoring and developing subordinates to reach their full potential
• Ability to conduct performance discussions and provide clear feedback
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
