DNA Synthesis Technician I/II

Responsibilities

• Schedule, run, and maintain DNA/RNA oligo synthesizers
• Perform downstream oligo processing including pre-treatment and deprotection
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor fixes on oligo synthesizers
• Use proprietary LIMS for daily work, order tracking, and documentation
• Follow Work Instructions, Checklists, Batch Records, and Logs accurately
• Maintain production records in compliance with Quality System
• Follow all safety and regulatory requirements including proper PPE and hazardous materials handling

Requirements

• Minimum AA degree or equivalent
• BS in a science field preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-throughput production environment
• Ability to lift 35+ pounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an ISO-13485 or cGMP environment
• Experience using a LIMS or similar laboratory data system
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals
