DLP Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage the full DLP policy lifecycle, including creating, updating, tuning, and optimizing policies
• Review the effectiveness of existing policy controls to reduce false positives and negatives
• Analyze incident trends, user behavior, and sensitive data movement patterns to identify emerging risks
• Manage the exemption and exception process, including conducting risk assessments for business requests
• Ensure all DLP policies align with regulatory requirements, internal security standards, and data classification frameworks
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, HR, SOC, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical controls
• Support audits and compliance evidence collection through rigorous governance and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with DLP technologies
• Expertise in Microsoft Purview DLP and associated offerings (Cloud Apps, DSPM, DSPM for AI)
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake and Snowflake Intelligence for building DLP analytics capabilities
• Proven experience in data governance and risk analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
