Divisional Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for nursing staff, providers, and other medical staff members within the Family Birthing Place.
• Coordinate communication between staff members, patients, and providers to ensure efficient patient care and throughput.
• Gather and maintain data related to process improvement as requested by department leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date divisional service statistics and participate in departmental process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with coordinating equipment trials and obtaining quotes for capital purchases.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking and organizational knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One year of applicable experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Washington State NAC license.
• CPR card (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospital patient care area.
• Experience with patient scheduling.
• Previous experience in materials management.
• Previous office or administrative experience.
