About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Division Chief to lead implementation of divisional strategy and operational initiatives.
- Oversee divisional budgets and financial performance across clinical practice, faculty compensation, and sponsored research.
- Monitor budget variances and drive financial improvement, business development, and strategic planning.
- Manage day-to-day divisional activities, including workflow optimization and resolving operational issues.
- Oversee space planning, utilization, IT coordination, and renovations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop divisional administrative staff.
- Lead collaboration with HR for hiring, appointments, promotions, and faculty credentialing.
- Ensure divisional compliance with institutional policies, healthcare regulations, and sponsored research requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- Four years of related professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and financial portfolios.
- Strong physician relations and leadership communication skills.
- Ability to effectively navigate and influence all levels of cross-functional leadership.
