Division Procurement Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage global procurement controlling and continuously develop standardized reporting processes, methods, and KPI definitions across international locations
• Control the periodic controlling cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly closings, and reporting
• Perform and improve purchase price variance (PPV) analyses and cost-savings trackers across all sites and product groups
• Monitor and analyze material, supplier, and procurement price developments to drive gross margin improvements
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for the Global Head of Procurement, local procurement teams, and Finance/Supply Chain organizations
• Support strategic procurement decisions through data-driven analyses and business cases, including make-or-buy decisions

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering
• Multi-year professional experience in controlling, ideally within procurement controlling or purchasing in an international industrial environment
• Strong analytical skills with a high affinity for data and a deep understanding of cost structures and margin mechanisms
• Proficiency in SAP (specifically FI/CO, CO-PA, and MM)
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik
• Digital competence in using data analytics and AI solutions for predictive decision-making
• Fluent English (C1 level); German language skills are an advantage
