Division Manager - Airport Operations and Facilities

Responsibilities

• Manage airport operations, facilities maintenance, and HVAC systems for Dayton's aviation facilities, including Dayton International Airport and the downtown heliport.
• Ensure strict compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations to maintain certified carrier facility status.
• Oversee maintenance and new construction functions, including inspecting new construction for conformance with approved plans.
• Direct emergency response activities, including snow and ice removal from runways and taxiways, as well as responding to fires, power outages, and security threats.
• Prepare and oversee the division's operating and capital budgets.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the FAA, TSA, airlines, airport tenants, and other government agencies.
• Supervise Airport Operations and Maintenance Supervisors, Airfield Maintenance Supervisors, and Garage Maintenance Supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Airport Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Five years of experience in Airport Operations or five years of experience in Facilities Management.
• Valid driver's license.
