About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with product line leaders and finance stakeholders to translate financial information into actionable insights and performance trends.
- Shape financial strategy by supporting the development of business cases for new distribution deals and growth initiatives.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and KPI monitoring.
- Design and deliver analytical tools and BI reporting to improve visibility across P&L categories and business cohorts.
- Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
- Manage and develop a small team of financial analysts through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Drive process improvement and automation through digital tools and smarter ways of working.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in finance, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Strong background in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and controls.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry trends.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level communication skills.

- Experience working across both Commercial and Consumer insurance lines.
