About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product line leaders and finance stakeholders to translate financial information into actionable insights and performance trends.
  • Shape financial strategy by supporting the development of business cases for new distribution deals and growth initiatives.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and KPI monitoring.
  • Design and deliver analytical tools and BI reporting to improve visibility across P&L categories and business cohorts.
  • Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and develop a small team of financial analysts through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Drive process improvement and automation through digital tools and smarter ways of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and controls.
  • Solid understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry trends.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrix environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across both Commercial and Consumer insurance lines.
