Division Controller

Responsibilities

• Act as a key leader by exemplifying Kiewit's core values and culture
• Analyze and communicate financial results including revenue, cost, backlog, and overheads to management
• Partner with the Operations team to ensure cohesion and clear communication
• Implement and execute internal controls to maintain high levels of data integrity
• Develop accurate budgets and drive organizational accountability to improve costs
• Lead and motivate subordinates through regular feedback and development goal setting
• Review estimate cash flows, payment terms, and Joint Venture agreements for financial risks
• Provide thorough reviews of project and department projections, reporting, and opportunities

Requirements

• 10+ years of financial or data analysis experience in the critical infrastructure market
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent degree
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial management skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% as business requires
• Ability to work in Canada without sponsorship, both now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience
• Financial or accounting experience within the construction or engineering industry
• Experience using SAP
• Proven track record of developing or managing a professional team
