Responsibilities
- Act as a key leader by exemplifying Kiewit's core values and culture
- Analyze and communicate financial results including revenue, cost, backlog, and overheads to management
- Partner with the Operations team to ensure cohesion and clear communication
- Implement and execute internal controls to maintain high levels of data integrity
- Develop accurate budgets and drive organizational accountability to improve costs
- Lead and motivate subordinates through regular feedback and development goal setting
- Review estimate cash flows, payment terms, and Joint Venture agreements for financial risks
- Provide thorough reviews of project and department projections, reporting, and opportunities
Requirements
- 10+ years of financial or data analysis experience in the critical infrastructure market
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent degree
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and accounting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial management skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% as business requires
- Ability to work in Canada without sponsorship, both now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, MBA, or public accounting experience
- Financial or accounting experience within the construction or engineering industry
- Experience using SAP
- Proven track record of developing or managing a professional team
