About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to drive revenue growth in a specific geographic area
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new, active, and inactive client accounts
- Create and manage account sales plans for target accounts in coordination with leadership
- Conduct sales calls, competitive analysis, and presentations to secure new business
- Partner with branch management to implement strategic solution-oriented sales plans
- Negotiate pricing strategies and sell strategic product/service offerings
- Establish community contacts and participate in local networking events to increase brand awareness
- Maintain accurate records of all business and sales activity in the company database
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven outside direct sales experience using consultative approaches
- Proven business development experience including cold calling, presentations, and closing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel to various customer sites and company offices as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
