About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective customer and independent distributor relationships
- Ensure coordination of sales activities with multiple functions
- Maintain and develop sales accounts to ensure sales and profit targets are achieved
- Identify opportunities and corrections by tracking product performance of each route in the district
- Provide input in the development of sales plans
- Maintain warehouse areas to meet regulatory and AIB standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in sales management (DSD / Route Sales)
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to travel up to 50% by vehicle to customer stores and meetings
- Proficiency in using computers for email, report generation, and correspondence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in route sales within the grocery industry
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish
