District Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective customer and independent distributor relationships
• Coordinate sales activities with multiple functions to ensure regional objectives are met
• Maintain and develop sales accounts while providing input for sales plan development
• Ensure sales and profit targets are achieved through consistent monitoring
• Identify opportunities and corrections by tracking product performance of each route in the district
• Maintain warehouse areas to meet regulatory and AIB standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• 2-5 years of sales management experience, specifically in DSD or Route Sales
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel up to 50% by vehicle to customer stores and meetings
• Proficiency in using computers for email, report generation, and correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in route sales within the grocery industry
• Bilingual verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Basic knowledge of DSD systems
