About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a district sales team to achieve and exceed sales and budget targets for respiratory biologics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Regional Sales Directors, Corporate Account Managers, and other business units
  • Track the effectiveness of marketing messages and programs and provide field feedback
  • Manage discretionary spend and other district resources to maximize performance
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop sales representatives
  • Conduct performance reviews, competency assessments, and ongoing coaching and counseling
  • Run district sales meetings and share best practices across teams
  • Build and maintain local opinion leader relationships to support aligned objectives

Requirements

  • Doctorate with 2 years of sales or marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience leading people, teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to coach, develop, and evaluate sales talent effectively
  • Willingness to work in a field-based role covering Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Minneapolis

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of specialty sales experience
  • Experience in biologics and the buy-and-bill model
  • Knowledge of local payor coverage and market dynamics
  • Ability to understand and communicate clinical concepts, data, and conclusions
  • Demonstrated success recruiting and hiring high-performing sales representatives
  • Strong self-discipline, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration skills
