About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of Account Sales Managers (ASMs) to drive sales volume and ensure in-store execution for essential customers
- Establish and oversee monthly Sales and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets for assigned Account Managers
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to drive team development
- Conduct two full days of route rides per week to train and evaluate team performance and market conditions
- Teach essential selling skills, including overcoming objections and retail math, through role plays and hands-on training
- Maintain regular communication with retail partners and decision-makers to implement programming
- Facilitate regular team meetings and workshops to improve operational expertise
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management
- Proven experience supervising a team of account sales professionals
- Valid US Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical card
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
