About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales and budget targets
- Screen, interview, and hire new candidates for the district
- Provide coaching, counseling, and performance reviews to prepare individuals for future development
- Track the progress of marketing messages and programs
- Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and other Business Units
- Conduct district sales meetings to guide and align the team
Requirements
- Doctorate with 2 years of sales/marketing experience OR
- Master's with 6 years of sales/marketing experience OR
- Bachelor's with 8 years of sales/marketing experience OR
- Associate's with 10 years of sales/marketing experience OR
- High school diploma with 12 years of sales/marketing experience
- 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leadership experience leading teams, projects, or programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of specialty sales experience
- Experience in oncology
- Experience with the buy and bill model
- Ability to understand and articulate complex clinical concepts and data
- Knowledge of local payor coverage
- Demonstrated ability to leverage market and customer knowledge to strategically target resources
