About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a ~$4.5M territory in Southern Wisconsin
- Develop customer partnerships with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards
- Drive sales growth through proactive prospecting and new opportunity development
- Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products
- Conduct customer education and contractor training programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, branch leadership, and estimating teams
- Provide responsive customer support in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of sales experience
- Experience in building materials, metal roofing, or construction products
- Understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the territory
- Ability to climb ladders and inspect rooftops
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience with estimating, project management, or inside sales
