About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales and budget targets
  • Screen, interview, and hire new candidates for the sales team
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and performance reviews to prepare individuals for future development
  • Track the progress of marketing messages and programs within the territory
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local Opinion Leaders to achieve business objectives
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, and other Business Units
  • Conduct district sales meetings to guide team strategy and execution

Requirements

  • Doctorate with 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience
  • OR Master's with 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience
  • OR Bachelor's with 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience
  • OR Associate's with 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience
  • OR High school diploma with 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience
  • 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams/projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three or more years of specialty sales experience
  • Experience in biologics and the buy-and-bill model
  • Ability to articulate clinical concepts, data, and conclusions to medical professionals
  • Knowledge of local payor coverage and market dynamics
  • Proven ability to leverage customer knowledge to strategically target resources and activities
