District Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service and distribution performance for an assigned region consisting of 15–20 depot locations.
• Lead and develop a diverse workforce of 100–125 employees, including Area Managers, Depot Managers, and Supervisors.
• Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and DOT regulations.
• Utilize Field Service Management (FSM) systems to monitor performance, routing efficiency, and service execution.
• Manage financial and operational results, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety compliance, facility conditions, and equipment readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align and execute company initiatives.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience leading remote, field-based teams in a service operations or distribution environment.
• Strong operational and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support and evaluate multiple locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Field Service Management (FSM) systems.
• Experience managing multi-site operations across geographically dispersed locations.
• CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, and a valid Medical Card.
