District Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Area Managers, Depot Managers, and Supervisors to ensure safe operations and achievement of performance expectations.
• Own service and distribution performance across the district, including routing efficiency and delivery execution.
• Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and DOT regulations.
• Utilize Field Service Management (FSM) systems to monitor performance and drive improvements in routing and scheduling.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for a diverse, field-based workforce of 100–125 employees.
• Review financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for cost control and resource optimization.
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety compliance, facility conditions, and equipment readiness.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience leading remote, field-based teams in a service operations or distribution environment.
• Strong operational and financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to support and evaluate multiple depot locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Field Service Management (FSM) systems.
• Experience leading multi-site operations across geographically dispersed locations.
• CDL, Tanker endorsement, Hazmat endorsement, and Medical Card.
