District Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and profit growth for industrial water programs and services within the Institutional division
• Develop and execute district plans to maximize revenue and meet profit increase goals
• Provide continuous coaching and development for a team of sales engineers and technical service representatives
• Generate accurate monthly sales forecasts and revenue predictions
• Construct business plans incorporating market drivers and analytics to monitor emerging conditions
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic, current, and prospective customers using a consultative sales approach
• Lead district meetings and champion corporate initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of experience leading and developing teams
• 5 years of successful technical or outside sales experience utilizing a consultative approach
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel as required to support the district (approximately 20% overnight travel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry)
• MBA degree
• 10 years of successful technical or outside sales experience, including executive-level relationship development
• Extensive knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
