About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex machine diagnosis and major component removal and replacement
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on a variety of equipment
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts following DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation of work orders daily
- Travel up to 90% of the work week throughout the assigned district and region
- Support, evaluate, coach, and provide feedback to other technicians
Requirements
- Must own tools applicable to the position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
- High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
