About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment and aerial lifts
- Use technology including laptops and tablets to create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Diagnose issues and determine root cause and corrective action using real-time data
- Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
- Maintain electronic documentation of work performed in a timely manner
- Assist in the training of lower level technicians
- Travel to customer job sites for repair and maintenance as required
Requirements
- Must own tools applicable to the position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
- High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel weekly to support business needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
